VanniTech, Kilinochchi - TechShack, VanniTech’s Employment Incubation Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with District Secretariat of Kilinochchi, the governmental administrative unit of Sri Lankan state, on the first day of 2008. VanniVision ’05, a three-day high-tech exhibition conducted by VanniTech, drew more than 2500 visitors making it the biggest high-tech event in the North-East region of Sri Lanka since the signing of the ceasefire agreement three years ago. Expatriates launch High-Tech institute in Kilinochchi                                                           TNS, June 23, 2003

International Tamil Technical Professionals’ Organization (ITTPO), based in Silicon Valley, inaugurates “Vanni-Tech”, in Kilinochchi, Northern Sri Lanka. ITTPO is a non-profit charitable organization, funded by members of the Sri Lankan Tamil expatriate community, already spent 10 million rupees on the technology institute and in the process to collect further 5 million rupees for operating costs, according to the ITTPO’s members.
